About the job

We are looking for an EU Grants Writer/ Manager with experience in consortia preparing project proposals and managing  grants of any type (Horizon Europe , EIT, national grants or private funding mechanisms...). This entails involvement in the thematic work.

You will work at the nexus of EU research on circular economy, text production and project management.  In this role, you will be responsible for following the European developments for new funding opportunities for the company, engaging in European multistakeholder consortia in setting up interesting project ideas and formulating them in a team of several researchers. Furthermore, you will be involved in the management of the projects from the first project planning and kick-off until the final communication with our financial controller. This involves the cooperation with leading industry partners/ universities of Europe and diverse activities e.g. trying out new innovations,  planning and conducting technology demonstrations, liaising with interdisciplinary consortia, writing proposals and project reports, translating business needs into new product development ideas and simply visiting labs, recycling facilities all over Europe and capturing the work in writing.

Challenges
  • Draft new project ideas and formulate project proposals in cooperation with other partners in multi-stakeholder consortia
  • Translate difficult texts and internal company knowledge into easily understandable deliverables for all types of actors or structured research proposals
  • Manage EU projects and coordinate with stakeholders all over Europe in their implementation
  • Liaise with research institutions and business partners in setting up technology demonstrations, meetings, multi-stakeholder dialogues or research
  • Document ongoing progress in projects and conduct applied research tasks
  • Coordinate internal actors in the implementation of project tasks
  • Measure project status, report progress and implement final evaluation to execute end-to-end project delivery within allocated resources
  • Take responsibility for the success of the projects assigned to you.
Requirements
  • at least 3 years of experience in research, journalism, technical writing or project management in a multi-stakeholder context
  • ideally a masters degree in a relevant field for the position
  • You can demonstrate a proven track record of formulating project proposals, research papers or other text production
  • Impeccable organisational, customer engagement and sensitivity skills.
  • Expertise in circular economy or supply chain management is an asset.
  • You are a great communicator (both written and verbal) and collaborator.
  • You are proactive, adaptable and can work independently.
  • Fluent English on a professional level (written & spoken).
  • Work permit for the EU.
