Overview

As an IT manager, you will work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that Circularise is using the most up-to-date technology to run our business. We are seeking an IT manager who will be responsible for ensuring that the hardware and software used by our company is compatible, secure, and scalable. You will also be responsible for managing our internal network and providing support to our team members.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks
  • Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure
  • Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the leadership team on a quarterly basis
  • Working closely with other department managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s networks
  • Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance
  • Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap
  • Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company
  • Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems
  • Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components
  • Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT management
  • In depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems
  • Experience with network administration (Cisco certification a plus) 
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Experience managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices
  • Familiarity with software platforms including Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Auth0, SIEM (e.g. Splunk)
