Discover the pioneering strides in rare earth sustainability through the lens of the Circular System for Assessing Rare Earth Sustainability (CSyARES) project. In this webinar, hosted by Circularise, we delve into the collaborative efforts of the Rare Earth Industry Association (REIA) and Minviro, spotlighting their role in advancing transparency and sustainability across the rare earth industry. Central to our discussion is the recent milestone achievement: the publication of Product Category Rules (PCR) for rare earth concentrates, oxides, metals, and magnets. Crafted in partnership between REIA and Minviro, these rules establish a benchmark for conducting comprehensive life-cycle assessments (LCAs), ensuring uniformity and comparability of environmental performance metrics. Delving deeper into the CSyARES project, we explore the possibilities of the seamless integration of REIA's sustainability standards with Circularise's blockchain-based traceability software and Minviro's sustainability metrics. This integrated solution not only will facilitate affordable, confidential certification for suppliers but also empower the tracking and measurement of environmental impacts throughout supply chains.
