Stop chasing data. Start collecting it.
If you've ever tried to collect sustainability data, compliance documents, product, or material specs from your supply chain, you know the struggle. The data you need for reporting is spread across hundreds of direct suppliers, and getting it involves endless email chains and messy spreadsheets.
Today, that changes.
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Supplier Data Collection - a powerful new feature in the Circularise platform. It’s designed to give you a direct line to your suppliers to collect and validate essential data, and seamlessly integrate it into your existing digital product passports and chain of custody records.
Why we built Supplier Data Collection
Our customers have always relied on Circularise for secure supply chain traceability. But as regulatory demands grew, they faced a new challenge: how to get reliable product and batch-level data from hundreds of suppliers efficiently.
Collecting this data often meant:
- Endless email back and forth with suppliers who all respond differently
- Excel chaos with multiple formats, missing units, and outdated documents
- Difficulty consolidating data for compliance and sustainability reporting
- Strained supplier relationships when requests piled up
That is why we built Supplier Data Collection — to turn supplier data collection from a bottleneck into a scalable process.
Your new capabilities
Supplier Data Collection gives you a single platform to collect, validate, and manage batch- and product-level supplier data at scale. Here’s a look at what you can now do:
- Product & Batch-level campaigns: Send standardised data requests about entire product lines or specific material batches to hundreds of suppliers at once.
- Centralised portal: Eliminate email and spreadsheet chaos by giving suppliers one easy-to-use place to submit data.
- Response validation: Approve, reject, or request clarifications with comments, creating a clear and auditable dialogue.
- Progress dashboards: Get a real-time overview of who has responded, identify bottlenecks, and send reminders effortlessly.
- Integrated traceability: This is the key. Collected data is automatically added to the item in your inventory, instantly enriching your chain of custody views.
How SDC works in practice

Here’s the three-step process for a collaborative workflow:
- Create a Campaign: From the new "Data Requests" tab, you create a campaign. Select the products or material batches you want to ask questions about—even batches you've already used with a zero balance. Then, add the data points you need and set a deadline.
- Suppliers Respond: Your suppliers are notified and can easily enter the requested information and upload documents in a centralised portal.
- Approve or Reject: You review their submissions. If everything is correct, you approve it. If something is missing or incorrect, you can reject it with a comment explaining why, allowing your supplier to resubmit.
Once approved, the new data is automatically integrated. It's that simple.
Who’s this for?
Supplier Data Collection is designed for anyone who needs accurate data from their supply chain to do their job.
