About the job

As Business Development Manager with knowledge of sustainable supply chains and an affinity with B2B software, you drive engagement, negotiations and consultation with clients. The position is primarily responsible for revenue generation by creating strategic alliances with new & existing customers. You help drive the growth and shape the future of the emerging supply chain traceability technology sector and support Circularise to meet our customers’ evolving needs.

We believe that end-to-end traceability holds the key to overcoming major challenges that society faces in areas such as Circular Economy, Environmental Pollution and Carbon Emissions. Therefore, it’s our mission to bring traceability to global supply chains and to accelerate world’s transition to a Circular Economy.

Circularise is disrupting industries by changing how companies trace their products and materials and share information about them, enabling sustainable practices at an unprecedented level. We achieve that with a blockchain-based open protocol that enables sharing of information about products and materials while retaining privacy over sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales growth by developing positive relationships with clients, gaining a detailed understanding of their requirements, challenges, and strategic direction.
  • Developing specific plans related to the customer and the proposed solution based on needs/problems analysis.
  • Identifying and monitoring potential leads.
  • Identifying needs/value to advance leads from initial contact to contract.
  • Presenting Circularise to leads and running product demos.
  • Preparing and managing proposals, presentations, negotiations, pricing and contracts to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or track record in business development or sales, ideally within the technology or supply chain industry.
  • Solid understanding of B2B software and its applications within supply chain management. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning teams.
  • Proactive self-starter and adaptable.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and maintaining accurate records.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
