We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cryptography Engineer specialising in the design, analysis, and implementation of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience in deploying cryptographic solutions able to boost both the privacy and efficiency of our systems, minimising the need for trust in humans.
As a Senior Cryptography Engineer, your role will be to implement new features and enhance the overall efficiency, stability, and safety of our web application — working across both back-end and front-end aspects. You will play a pivotal part in creating a seamless, robust, and secure experience for all our users. It is crucial to be product-minded and obsess about our users and their needs.

Within the first month, you will have familiarised yourself with Circularise's technology stack and current cryptographic solutions. You will have been integrated into our team, actively contributing to our ongoing projects, and participating in brainstorming sessions to innovate our approach to privacy and data integrity. You will have begun the process of identifying areas for implementation or improvement of zero-knowledge proof mechanisms within our products.
After six months, you will have taken ownership of key cryptography projects within the company. You will have designed and helped to implement new features or systems utilising zero-knowledge proofs to enhance the privacy and security of Circularise's offerings. You will have worked closely with the product development and research teams to ensure that our solutions not only meet the highest standards of security but also align with the company's vision of a more transparent and sustainable supply chain. You will also mentor junior team members and represent the company at relevant conferences, contributing to the wider community of cryptography professionals.
